We set off with the next stage of the project in Tanzania. The local partner, on the basis of sent offers, chose a company that will rebuild the operating route in accordance with the project assumptions. Below are plans for the reconstruction of the route and a photo of the commencement of construction works.
Between the existing hospital pavilions there will be a new building, which will allow the transfer of two halls there, so called „a small surgery” and three doctor's surgeries along with a room for waiting patients provided with a sanitary facility. This will allow the reconstruction of the existing operating room block and enable the addition of a third room for large operations designed mainly for emergency procedures: 90% of them are caesarean section, but also emergency gynecological and surgical cases when two existing operating rooms are held scheduled operations.
