Every project that PMM implements includes educational elements, also addressed to children. We are aware that if we let children learn about hygiene principles and ways to prevent diseases, we can save health and life for them and their families now and in the future, because they will take this knowledge and good habits with them into adult life. The children from Wakema Township in Myanmar absorb knowledge quickly and with commitment. The PMM volunteer Milea Dorosz, who runs the workshops, uses a booklet, which we have prepared especially for the Myanmar children. This is the first training in primary schools, which initiate a series of training courses prepared by PMM. Milena Dorosz discusses with the kids the necessary hygiene rules and ways to prevent disease.
The project named "Myanmar - obstetric, educational, medical and WASH activities in the Irrawaddy Delta region" is co-financed by the Polish development cooperation programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
