About 80,000 Syrians live in the Zaatari refugee camp. Set flat containers, a grid of perpendicular streets, shops and service points make the camp look like a city at first glance. Some of the familie have lived in Zaatari for the seventh year. The Polish Medical Mission provides renovation and construction materials, food parcels and hygienic packages to families in the camp, and organizes meetings on the principles of hygiene in everyday life in the camp.
The project 'Support for Syrian refugees in the Zaatari Refugee Camp and Jordanians in the Mafraq and Irbid Governorate in the field of social assistance and shelter' is co-financed within the framework of the Polish development cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
