From July 30th to August 2nd, the volunteers of the Polish Medical Mission Katarzyna Błądek and Tomasz Grzelczak were in Georgia in the village of Khizabavra. Using the contacts of PMM with a Polish monk, Kamilianin, Father Paweł Dylem from Tbilisi, volunteers organized dental help for the inhabitants of a Georgian village. Deacon Valerian Datashvili hosted them. A field dental office stood in a kindergarten building. Doctor Katarzyna Błądek accepted 89 patients for three days, of which 87 underwent dental procedures. 53 tooth extractions and 75 fillings were performed. The mission was financed from own resources of the volunteers and the Polish Medical Mission. A portable dental unit, purchased as part of the PMM project in Papua New Guinea, proved to be excellent in another place. Volunteers were very warmly welcomed by the deacon and villagers, experiencing the famous Georgian hospitality.
