Work on the construction of the Nyangao hospital surgical department is progressing quickly and professionally. The branch building was personally designed by the hospital director, dr. Ryszard Jankiewicz, who has been managing the facility for over 20 years. This week, the building's rooms will be connected to solar batteries and a drainage system. The rooms are already painted, connected to the media and prepared for inserting medical equipment and patient beds. For the first time, hospital doctors will have a comfortable room to work with patients' documentation, connected to an electronic data transmission system and X-ray images to a hospital consultation room where doctors check-in and discussions are planned every day at 7.30 in the morning. The reception of the surgical ward is planned for the second half of October.
The project is co-funded within the framework of the Polish Development Cooperation Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
