The main objective of the "Promotion of Health in Arunachal Pradesh” project carried out in 2015 was the health education of the local inhabitants. Polish Medical Mission volunteers, Emilia Kowalska (paramedic) and Maria Strzemieczna (nurse), conducted 16 trainings in schools and universities. They also organized 9 workshops on first aid for children and youth and 6 trainings on hygiene and prevention of dirty hands diseases. Altogether, in classes attended 977 people. Volunteers conducted also trainings for specialists (health care workers and police officers). In cooperation with police, they prepared instructional video that will be incorporated into the training program conducted by the police at regional schools. Volunteers actively engaged into the ongoing activities of the host organization, Seva Kendra Arunachal East, and participated in activities related to organization and managing medical camps.
