Since January 2017, the Polish Medical Mission has been running the project Yes, You can! Its beneficiaries are foreigners who came to Poland in January 2016 or later and are looking for a job in Poland. PMM finances courses in Polish and other languages as well as vocational courses from a grant received from State Street CAF. Within the framework of the project, a day camp for foreigners’ children will be held in Krakow in the latter part of August.
Polish Medical Mission extends invitation to participate in the day camp to children aged 6 to 12 years who are staying in Poland based on a valid residence document, with a term of validity of minimum 365 days. The day camp will include fun games and general development activities for children, as well as workshops with elements of improving Polish language skills and classes in English. During the day camp, children will be provided with a morning meal (second breakfast) and lunch. The activities will take place in the Krakow district of Kazimierz, between 14th and 25 of August, from 8 am to 1.30 pm.
Parents interested in their children’s participation in the day camp are welcome to contact the project coordinator, Paulina Bandura, at: firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for submitting applications is the 27th of July.
The project Yes, You can! run by the Polish Medical Mission from January to December 2017 is funded by the State Street Charities Aid Foundation. The purpose of the project is to facilitate integration of foreigners through learning Polish and to support them in finding employment in Poland through vocational courses and trainings with job advisors. At present, direct assistance is provided to over 50 people, mainly from Ukraine.
