Polish Medical Mission invites to the meeting that sums up two years of assistance activities in the Middle East. On 19th December at 6 pm, in Pauza In Garden, at ul. Rajska 12, a meeting with representatives of the Polish Medical Mission will take place. Our special guest will be Paweł Smoleński.
During the meeting there will be an opportunity to find out what the work of the Polish Medical Mission looks like in the Middle East – in Syria, Jordan and Iraqi Kurdistan – and above all what the reality of those whom they help looks like.
Polish Medical Mission’s activities will be presented by Ewa Piekarska, President of the Association, Małgorzata Olasińska-Chart, Assistance Coordinator in the Middle East, and Katarzyna Rydel, responsible for PMM activities in Jordan. And Paweł Smoleński, expert on the Middle East, reporter, publicist and author of book, will help in better understanding the current situation in the Middle East.
Polish Medical Mission is carrying out activities in favour of supporting health care in Iraqi Kurdistan and Jordan. Projects are co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the framework of the Polish Development Cooperation Programme. PMM also does fundraising activities for the purchase of prostheses, medicines and hygiene products for victims of those injured in the Syrian war. PMM provides special care to women and children.
You can support the Polish Medical Mission’s activities by buying a selected aid kit on PMM’s website: http://www.pmm.org.pl/en/ways-of-help/ or by transferring money to PMM’s account: 08 1240 4650 1111 0010 4607 7315.
