On Friday 3rd June, Ewa Piekarska, the CEO of the Polish Medical Mission is meeting Lebanese journalists who are visiting Poland and learning its culture in a study visit. During the meeting Ewa Piekarska will tell journalists about the Polish Medical Mission actions, including all projects managed in Lebanon and other Near East regions.
The participants of the meeting are:
Scarlett Haddad (journalist of the "L'Orient-Le Jour" – the most important French-speaking daily newspaper cooperating with the French "L'Express").
Rita Sfeir (journalist of: Arabic-speaking "an-Nahar" and the English-speaking "The Daily Star", cooperating with the Spanish "El Mundo").
Bassam Lahoud (artist photographer, lecturer, author of many photographic exhibitions cooperating with a number of Lebanese newspapers).
According to the Polish Press Agency, which is appointed by the Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to manage the study visit of journalists from Lebanon in Poland, the purpose of the visit is to acquaint visitors with the preparations for the World Youth Day which will be attended by a large group of pilgrims from Lebanon (currently registered about 1500 people); to acquaint visitors with the current political and socio-economic situation in Poland; the promotion of Polish-Lebanese cooperation in the field of cultural heritage protection.
