From 1st February 2016 until 30th June 2017, PMM together with four European humanitarian organisations (Polish Humanitarian Organisation, Magna Slovakia, Magna Czech Republic, Estonian Refugee Council), are implementing the project Technical Assistance within the framework of the EU Aid Volunteers programme.
The Technical Assistance project is aimed at preparing Polish Medical Mission and the partner organisations from Central and Eastern Europe to satisfy the standards that are necessary in order to become organisations sending volunteers within the framework of the EU Aid Volunteers programme. In order to ensure the highest quality of aid that is provided, with regard to both the skills and the safety of the people taking part in the programme, the organisations must satisfy a number of standards related to the certification process.
The project is co-financed from European Union resources within the framework of the EU Aid Volunteers programme.
Within the framework of the project, PMM volunteers and employees took part in 5 trainings divided according to their topics. Each time, a selected organisation was responsible for holding the training.
